Chi Chi Throws a Pissy Fit

I've been catching up on the latest news in the world of gay porn and came across this from the 2010 JRL Awards (held just recently).

It seems the never-going-away Chi Chi Larue had a meltdown on stage (or a pissy fit if you like). From what I understand he / she informed them the bareback awards were to be presented and done before he / she would go out on stage to present an award. What a fucking ego!!!

Well, it turns out when Chi Chi walked out on stage, the award to be presented was for a bareback performer. Chi Chi stormed off and you could hear the yelling from backstage.





Of course, the show went on. However, the two guys who came up to present awards were difficult to understand and couldn't stop moving about. The presentations probably should have been rehearsed a bit more (as well as teaching the presenters how to read and pronounce people's names).

Here's my take.

Chi Chi is a bitchy dried-up windbag of a monstrously hideous drag queen who needs to get over himself (and start making better quality videos).

Bareback videos have been around forever (they were the norm before--ever hear of pre-condom?)and they will continue to be around. They are a huge moneymaker for the studios who produce them. The audience is probably larger than for "safe sex" videos.

Many people who are afraid to bareback use them as a fantasy (imagining themselves in the action). Those who do bareback enjoy them because it is natural to them (and for all humans).

Men who bareback, for the most part, are not enticed by the videos to start barebacking. I know guys who watch them (and enjoy them), but refuse to have sex without condoms. I think (and this is my case) that guys who bareback are going to and probably were before the proliferation of new bareback videos.

And, it's not just in gay porn.

Look at straight porn (I was forced to at a party one night). According to my straight friends (and I have to take them at their word on this), about 99% of straight porn is bareback. Hardly anyone uses a condom and they are not required to by the studios.

Bisexual porn (which I have looked at from time to time for the hot guys) is about 50% bareback. My major beef with bisexual porn is that in many of them, the guys fuck the chicks with out condoms, but when it comes down to guy-on-guy action, the condoms magically appear. To me, that is the height of hypocrisy. What's any different from sticking your dick in a pussy with out a condom as opposed to sticking your dick in a guy's ass without one?

But, I digress........

So, Chi Chi, your one drag queen screed against barebacking needs to go a way. People are not going to change, just because of you.
